Are you afraid of The Doctor?

I keep thinking there was a horror movie called, The Doctor. I'm mistaken though, it was The Dentist, which is just as bad.

I'm not afraid of the doctor or the dentist, but I hate going to the eye doctor. I don't like anyone going near my eyes for any reason. We just found a new eye doctor and he's super but I still hate going.

My General practitioner is about my age (28) and a woman, which seems to put me more at ease.

I don't mind going to the doctor as long as I can watch him work on someone else. I used to do a lot of camera work and directing for a media company in Toronto, one of our clients was a big hospital there. We would get scrubbed down and greened up and record people with their insides out on a table. Eye surgery is definitely the wackiest, partly because it's so quiet. Two doctors with their hands overlapping, making tiny cuts and swabs on an eyeball while looking through a set of microscopes. For some spefically demonic reason, I nearly always had the urge to make an accidentally loud noise just as the guy doing the cutting was about to slice and dice. I think it must have been watching all those Bugs Bunny cartoons as a kid, and loving the one where he's racing around the hospital trying to avoid being a lab sample...
