Do you guys think that when Luka said "Cutty-pie" he did it on purpose so Carol would say "Cutie-Pie?" (as a joke) He did make a funny face, like he knew what it meant....and he said they had those hearts back at home.....

I don't think the mistake was a joke. It is completely believable to me that Luka would make such an error. My boyfriend's first language is not English and he makes adorable and funny mistakes all the time, like "woodpoker" instead of woodpecker and ordering "chicken stripes" instead of strips, and asking what the "windshield" factor is when it's cold out. And Luka didn't say his wife and kids were shot, he said killed.

I agree Annie. But I do think that he took advantage of Carol saying "Cutey Pie" when he said "thank you!" It seems obvious to me that he is interested in her on some level. He misses his family and there she is alone with her babies. Maybe Doug will come back and they will address that? Sandy
