DOES ANYBODY CAN GIVE A REFFRENCE FOR "PEOPLE TO PEOPLE" PROGRAM (SWIMMERS, PARENTS OR COACHES WHO PARTICIPATED IN THE PAST). SOME OF MY SWIMMERS GOT INVITATIONS THIS YEAR, FOR A TRIP TO NEW ZEELAND AND AUSTRALIA WHICH SEEMS NICE BUT IS VERY COSTLY.THANK YOU

My daughter is going on the New Zealand and Australia trip this year. We have received invititions for years but I always thought it was a scam. But last year my daughter's best friend went to Europe with People to People. She had a wonderful time and made many new friends. One of the Delegation Leaders is a neighbor of hers (this is the leader my daughter happened to get also). The second group that is going from here, has as one of their Delegation Leaders, a man that was one of my high school principals. My daughter does not leave until this June, but I suspect that she will have a wonderful time and it will be an experience that will enhance her life. It is my understanding, that once a child is invited to one trip, they will be invited for others. I know that the trip seems expensive but when you consider that it covers everything except trinkets they may want to bring home and snacks they may want to buy while over there, I think it is well worth it. I only wish that I knew they were for real years ago so that we could have saved up for the trip instead of having to find the money all at once. I hope to be able to save up for my other two children to go in the future. Possibly to one of the sports camps...they are both into soccer. I hope this has helped.
