I have been using postershop for a long time and want to get refreshed on why paths in illustrator come out a segments when enlarging the image in postershop. This has been a problem sometimes when enlarging 8x and above. Any input would be appreciated,

This is because curves are not really curves, but rather, small segments of straight lines. Try adjusting the MINFLAT and MAXFLAT values in PosterShop or the precision level in Illustrator to overcome this problem.

You might want to try selecting all the objects in Illustrator, then in the attributes panel type in a higher number like 2400 or higher. Finally, deselect everything and reselect one element to make sure it actually accepted the change in resolution to 2400. Hope that works, it's worked for me in the past when using other R

Send the file out of illustrator at full size instead of letting your print spooler or rip enlarge it
