YES, I JUST RUINED A ROLL TWO WEEKS AGO. THERE IS NO RECOMMENDATION IN ANY TECHNICAL GUIDE I HAVE, SO I TRIED 6 MINUTES AT 680, BUT THE NEGATIVES CAME OUT UNDERDEVELOPED, I'D SUGGEST YOU TO TRY 7-71/2 MINUTES.

As with everything photographic- calibrate before you try an important roll of film on a new process. james

If you have to try out an untested film/dev combination, and have no idea of the development time, try this:Simply cut off a piece of the film and drop it into a beaker of the developer at the right temperature. In normal room light, time how long it takes to develop to full density; that is usually when the front and back of the film look about the same dark grey. Make a note of this time . Give the clip a quick fix until it's cleared, and check the density by holding it up to the light. Compare it with a fully fogged piece of film from a known film/dev combination, and repeat with any necessary adjustments, to get similar densities.
It's not 100% accurate by any means, but a good starting point, and should give printable negs at least.

Oh my! Pan F with Tmax Dev. I use that all the time. I looked at the box in which the Pan F was packaged and it recommended EI 50 for 4 min. at 68F. The ISO, time, and temp are also listed on www.digitaltruth.com As for 6 min. at 68F, this is recommended with EI 80. I love Pan F....too bad it doesn't come in 4 x 5 sheets!
