"All In The Family" comments (was: "Tonight's Episode")

This was easily the best episode of the series. I think that every character was handled wonderfully. Sometimes it is hard to believe we can get emotional about someone who doesn't really exist. I have to say that Lucy's death, and the excellent reaction by the other characters, brought both my wife and I to tears.

Now we will wait and see if they can continue this prope

Response to Tonight's episode

This was a wonderful episode. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I was disappointed to see Lucy go. I guess I still had hopes that she and Noah would get together. For all those people that said this episode was disappointing, They are crazy!

I agree, I absolutely LOVED Benton's part in the whole show..I really wanted to see him and Carter interact on an emotional level. I must admit, I was tense and teary eyed for the entire show, especially when Romano threw that table over after they lost Lucy. I still want to see some respectful closure with Lucy's death. I hope they bring some family in, and I can't wait to see how Carter's family rallies around him at this time. Good episode!

Response to Tonight's episode

I have to agree that getting involved this evening in this episode was very profound. I had just made a comment to a friend after it was all over that I could not believe how I acted as if I had known Lucy. I even said I would miss her. Tonight was a great episode!

I hope Lucy comes back in the next few episodes as flashbacks to carter or maybe be in a dream ect. I thought on Regis and Kathy Lee Monday she made the comment she had just finished taping a couple days before..they film episodes several weeks in advance..here is hoping....

Response to Tonight's episode

Every character EXCEPT Carol. She would never have been so cold, unemotional and businesslike when two of her friends met with such tragedy. She was more upset last week when the 2 children lost their parents. I think the writers have given up doing much with Carol since she will be leaving the show. They are certainly not keeping is line with the Carol we've known all these years. Otherwise SUPER eppy-tears, holding my breath and shocked even though I knew what was to happen. Another Emmy caliber show!!
