Hi. Does anyone know the name of the actress who played what's-his-name, schizo guy's wife? I know I have seen her before. In fact I think I went to college with her. I tried to watch at the end, but I wasn't taping it and the credits went by too fast.

*I think* her name is Liza Weil... I just happened to be watching Stir of Echoes this afternoon and then when I watched ER I thought it was the same girl.... (so I just ran the credits to find out her name)... if it's not her it looks an awful lot like her

Don't know her name but I do know she made me absolutely itch to shake her when she got all stubborn and mean about her husband's near- conclusive involvement in knife stabbing . . . I wanted to grab that butcher knife, wave it in her face, and show her the matching prints . . .

I know what you mean. I wanted to yell at her too ... but I got to thinking that if it was ME, I wouldn't be quick to believe terrible things people were saying about MY husband. I think she played the part quite well. And, when she was in the room with him later, and he was obviously not making any sense ... those tears she shed ... actually broke my heart. She suddenly knew, and it just tore her apart.

Her name is Liza Weil. If you watch The West Wing, she was on it a couple weeks ago in the episode "Take Out The Trash Day". She was the secretary who ratted out Leo, and was fired at the end of the episode by Sam (but then rehired by Leo). Hope this helps!

Ms. Weil's first starring film role was in an excellent 15 minute short called "A Cure For Serpents" which is online in its entirety at www.atomfilms.com. Liza is great in it and the film is really worth seeing. I admit that this is a shameless plug for a film made by a friend of mine, but head over to Atom and check it out -- you won't be sorry.
