Hello-
Your report to the MindSpring AUP Abuse group appears to involve a security related issue.
It is vital that your report include the following:
IP address of the attacker
Date of the abuse
Exact time of the event
Timezone that your machine is logging in (very important) logs substantiating the event
If you neglected to include any of the above information please reply to this mail with your updated information and your ticket will be appended.
Please note, we are not able to take action on an account without being able to substantiate "abuse" allegations with documentation of one or more violations of our Appropriate Use Policy (AUP). While utilities such as `traceroute` and `whois` are useful in identifying online users, these resources are not a substitute for actual system logs which can provide a reliable record of online activity.
Back Orifice and NetBus are two common Windows backdoors that have generated a lot of security reports lately. For more information regarding these and other common Internet "trojans" and general online security, youmay want to explore the following links.
