I am writing a paper for my psych class on sports psychology and am having much trouble beginning with finding research. Could anyone please help me out and refer in the right direction any help is greatly appreciated.

The Sport Discus data base references the major sport and exercise psychology journals. I would also suggest you use more descriptive terms (e.g., competitive anxiety) to describe your topic rather than a general term like sport psychology. The data base will provide you with a list of titles and abstracts which you can scroll through to narrow your search. Often the citations will include Key words which you can also use to narrow your serach parameters.

If your library doesn't have Sport Discus, try Psychlit and Medline.
