Hailing his victory in Phoenix, McCain told his supporters that We are creating a new majority, my friends a McCain majority and we are Al Gores worst nightmare. "I want to make a special plea tonight to my fellow Republicans," he said. "There are those who rule the Establishment who want more than anything to defend Washington's big money, big spending status quo. They want to fool you about me. Well, here's some more straight talk: I am a proud Reagan conservative. I love the Republican Party. It is my home." McCain said, "I want to end Washington's outrageous pork barrel spending... I want to rebuild our military, strengthen our families, protect the unborn and cut your taxes." Arguing that he could expand the base of the Republican Party, McCain said, "don't fear this campaign, my fellow Republicans, join it."

Excellent post, Vernice!

Thanks for pointing out that while he DOES one thing, he SAYS another.

That's what makes him a HYPOCRITE!

Hal, I think your trying to bait me.

You wouldn't happen to be a McCain supporter by chance, would you?

You see, Vern comes a whoring for McCain, and I point out the faults in his politicing, and then you come in out of the blue to try to derail ME.

Looks like you just got yourself found out. I ain't no hypocrite, Hal. I'm just someone who doesnt' like seeing a pack of lies spread unchallenged.
