Optimal size of a problem solving group

greenspun.com : LUSENET : work teams : One Thread

I read in some research I was doing that there is an optimal size for a group of this type. I can not seem to find that piece of information and would like to include it in my paper.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You Kellie Helvey

The (experienced)trainer of a reputed problem solving course told me that the optimal range was 5 - 8 people.
