If you could buy one thing for your home, regardless of cost, what would it be?

And why?

I'd replace the carpet with a nice wood floor, in the living room, dining room, hallway, and on the stairs. I consider that a single purchase since it's all connected. :) I think the carpet looks boring, and oh, how I hate vacuuming stairs, especially when no matter how much I try, the stairs still never look completely clean.

OH, this one's easy..... The one thing I would buy would be a full deck and HOT TUB!! Hanging right off the back of the house, close enough to get in the tub all winter, stepping down into that hot water when it's ten degrees outside would be MAHHHHHVELOUS!!! But I think unless I won the lottery last night, it's gonna be awhile!! Pete
