Can someone give me Gary North's current e-mail address?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

I have searched everywhere that I know to search for it. None of his sites I have been able to bring up are current anymore.

On his newsletter of February 7th, this e-mail address was at the top:

icetyler@juno.com

Hope this helps.

Nadine, Thanks for the address. How did you get his Newsletter? Was it emailed or sent to you in the mail?

Does any one remember reading a post by Gary North, which said Japan was to be paid back with gold by the US, when they redeemed their Treasury notes or bonds? I am almost positive that I read this on his web site last fall and now I can't find the article.

Gary North said that we'd see (a) drop in oil supply and resulting price increases, (b) drop in stock market. I'll listen to what he has to say.

-- Markus Archus (apxov@mail.com), February 27, 2000.

Imso, Gary will still continue to draw the 'We churchianities will take over the world' crowd. I guarantee he will resurface with something new. I despise him myself even though the first I ever heard of the 'Y2K' problem was in an unsolicited newsletter I got from him. One of many from my Rush Limbaugh days. Oh well, the mistakes of younger days. And I am sure I am makin''em now. Still 11.5 doomer. Watch your R3!

Dean,

Thank you for responding. I read the article twice,to be sure but, it's not the one I was looking for.

Mr Archus--

I guess one out of a few hundred ain't bad, especially if you consider stocks and oil are both cyclical. With stocks at an all- time high, not too bad a guess they would go down (although I don't think they are what Mr North predicted) and with oil so cheap, not too hard to guess they'd go up.

Here are some more predictions for you to bolster your confidence in me: Stocks will go up again. Oil prices will drop again.

I'm way too lazy to post the crap Mr North said would happen that was just panic-mongering kookoo, but you can go back and read them if you want a chuckle. Sobering that even in retrospect you still consider him an appropriate source. P T Barnum said it best, I guess. But how badly wrong do you have to be before even the suckers catch on?

hey, imsolame...why so contrite? your last sentence says it all, so are you catching on yet?
