OT-Need Information On Israel's Oil Reserves

greenspun.com : LUSENET : TimeBomb 2000 (Y2000) : One Thread

Would like to know about one of the largest oil reserves found in Israel. Is the oil now or soon to be taken out of the this reserve? How much oil is estimated to be there and where is it located?

Any information would be appreciated, thanks.

Prophecy Club has some interesting information about oil in Israel. Hayseed Stephens is the guy who talks about it on a couple videos. I've never read/seen the materials though.

website is prophecyclub.com I think.

They have, as I last remember - almost none.

Almost no drilling, no fields, and thus all is imported. A few chemical plants, but not many - too little water and power for real refinery and high-level processing (too energy intenstive - they've had to import more oil to create the heat and pressures to create the refineries and the chemical plants!). Also, too little water for cooling and regeneration.

Could be wrong though - I'll ask a resident I talk to regularly over there, and respond with what he answers.

Border girl, went to the site but, didn't find any information on oil in Israel.

Robert, I am looking forward to any information that you can get. I had heard several years ago, that the largest oil deposits ever found were found in Israel or off the coast of Israel. Since the oil deposits were suppose to be huge, I would think there should be alot of that oil still there.

plus a great portion of their water somehow originates or flows through the golan heights--which everyone is trying to get them to give away. hmmmmmmm.........

Go to http://www.nessenergy.com

Hayseed Stevens formed a company that has lease rights for drilling in Israel along the Dead Sea I believe. He claimes it is the largest reserve in the world! His site has all the history etc......
