Fast forward to adulthood, I lived in all the fairy tales as a kid. Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land." the hippie bible - - i groked that. Dougals Adams - "Hitchhiker's Guide to the The Galaxy." And because I was familiar with north west and north central New Mexico, "The Milagro Bean Field War," by I think Nichols. I live in all of them. Funny about the Beanfield War - - I knew those characters well - - - - and so did every one else who new New Mexico in those days. The only thing was, we each put a different name and different town around the necks of the characters.
