Home Computer Hardware

Can anyone advise of any funding bodies for computer hardware in the home for disabled in the Glasgow area. Have searched the web and the morass of info is beyond me, rather there is no 'obvious' site for assistance. RSVP

You should get in touch with AbilityNet at http://www.abilitynet.co.uk/ and ask them if they can help you.

Dear Bill, I too, am looking for funding or just a really kind-hearted person to help my daughter get a home computer that will run a Windows98 program. She is language learning disabled and a computer would mean that she could download the business programs she needs to learn and then she could get a job to support herself. It would be the difference between dependance and independance. I can't find any help in Canada or Alberta either. Good luck in your search. Ellen
