Velite contact printing paper

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Large format photography : One Thread

Back in the '50s I used Kodak Velite for contact printing. This paper could be handled in ordinary room lighting. Is there anything like that available today?

Try Centennial POP by Chicago Albumen Works available through Bostick & Sullivan. I use the fiber-based double weight all the time. It's tonable in gold thiocyanate, gold borax or selenium.
