I got two files called movie.asf and movie1.asf, but i can't burn them on a cd-r and the vcd player won't read it. Please tell me what files do i convert them to what format is acceptable to be burned with Nero on a cd-r so that the vcd player will read the movies. Thanks for your help! PS! what files do a vcd normally read at what format and what program can convert an .asf file to this format...

the virtual dub program can convert these asf files i beleive into avis. This is done in your mos dos but it can do it. From there turn the avi files into an mpeg and go crazy. Just make sure your file though is vcd compliant
