If you explain a bad action from an evolutionary perspective (be it rape, theft or whatever), are you squeezing out the possibility of free will? And without free will, can it make sense to talk of evil?

I have heard rape explained in evolutionary terms as a last ditch effort to propogate your seed in a genetically superior host. Is this so evil?
