What was the deal with the nurse named Frank. Everyone seemed to know who he was, but I had never seen him before. I like the actor playing him. Will he be a regular cast member? I hope so.

Frank is an ICU nurse, and since the ER sends petients up there people were bound to know him. He was just guest starring, so it's unlikely that he'd be added to the main cast.

I enjoyed this character too. I don't know why, but I had a sense that maybe they were setting him up to become a regular cast member. That comment is based solely on my impression from the episode, not any insider information. He seemed to fit right in with the intensity of the ER. I think it would be neat to have a male nurse as a prominent character. Are there any now? Is Malich (sp?) a nurse??

Malik is a Junior Nurse. Frank was HOT -- kinda stupid though, not having breakfast or lunch and just running like heck...oh well, though! Deb's playing REALLY hard to get with poor Dave...Poor Dave, having to eat Cap'n Crunch out of a vomitting basin and having to catch a Gila Monster...rough day for Dave and Mark and Carter, wasn't it?

I loved Dave's reactions to Deb's reaction to Frank! He was so funny, especially when he asked what happened to "Super Nurse". But really, the whole storyline was silly. Deb was acting so immature! Mark kept yelling at everyone for spending too much time on one patient, but Deb only had eyes for Frank. It was boring to me and unprofessional of Deb.

I loved the whole Deb-Frank-Malucci thing! Malucci bugs the crap out of me sometimes because he is so cocky, and at other times he cracks me up. I loved how Deb handled him and what Randi said to him when he said that Frank was a "piece of work".
