Is something missing?

When I was reading "A Deal in Wheat" I got very confused, at first I thought maybe I lost a few pages, or maybe this was a shortened version of a longer story, was anyone else confused by this reading?

I was totally confused too. I think the main problem I had was not understanding the parts that got into the actual buying and selling of the wheat. I had very little idea of what was going on, and why explaining the buying and selling was even important to the story. It felt like alot of explaining for no reason. I think it just got a little too technical and detailed for me.

I felt the same way about this story. I also didn't understand very much about the whole process of buying and selling the wheat. Norris used to many technical terms for me.

This story jumped around entirely too much to make sense of it.
