Leon Baskt

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Art Deco Society of Washington : One Thread

Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone has any information on Leom Baskt, who designed costumes for ballet during the Art Deco period. I have a print of one of his designs, which I love, but I can't find any info on him!

Thanks for any help...

The Victoria & Albert Museum in London has a large Bakst collection of costume designs. You should try contacting some one there, or see it there is a catalogue of the collection. I assume there is a website. Good luck.
