Title: Fire breaks out in fertiliser plant

LAHORE (April 3) : Raw material worth thousands of rupees was gutted when fire broke out in an organic fertiliser factory here on Sunday. No casualty was reported.

The incident took place in Green Force Factory situated on Ferozpur Road, about 20 kilometres from here. The raw material, used for making organic fertiliser, burnt to ashes. However, the plant and other machinery of the factory remained safe and no other loss of property was reported. Fire fighters took at least three hours to bring the blaze under control.

According to police, the fire incident occurred probably due to short-circuit. However, they were investigating the matter from other angles, too.
