The English economy if Football was banned?

Just reading over some of the Wemberly threads and it occured to me that there must be a hell of an industry built around Football in the UK.

So apart from the clubs and their direct employees, what other industries rely on Football as a major source of income?

Quick flippant answer in my case, would be, Rothmans and Maxwell House! However, this is a very interesting question, and deserving of a bit more thought. I will post again, when my caffine and nicotine levels have stabilised! (:o)
