[Question from The Book of Questions, by Gregory Stock, Ph.D.]

What factors should be involved in determining what makes the world "better" or "worse"?

worse. pollution and overpopulation/famine are a big part of that...

i think there are way too many people with a live-for-today mentality instead of thinking about consequences in the future.

then there's probably disease and war...

we've had something of a lull in my part of the world.

perhaps if the world can get rid of conceited people by way of some personality plague, then it will be better off.

my goodness, don't i sound pessimistic!

aim for BETTER, everyone! how about some world-order cooperation and realism?
