Was Doug who they meant as the "voice" or "ghost" from the past? I assumed so, since they showed Carol talking to Mark soon after. I was surprised too that Carol said Seattle instead of Portland. Maybe the paramedic played by Ron Eldard moved to Seattle and dealt with his anger issues, and he and Doug will have a duel to the death for Carol's heart...

This is probably just me...when they first said a "voice from the past" or whatever and showed Carter hand Carol a card I thought at first it might be that Valentine that Carter had picked up from Yosh to Lucy. But after Carol mentioned Doug I figured it has something to do with him.

Yeah, Amanda, for like a split second I thought of Lucy too, just because they were talking about Carter's storyline. But then she's not really too far into the past yet, and they switched to Carol, so that idea left right away. I doubt the writers would make that big of a deal about her, though I wish for just one show they would bring her up.

Then again, the way NBC does those previews, you can't really count on anything! I hadn't thought of Lucy, but now that you guys mention it it could be her or Doug.

or Tag, or Anna, or Roxanne, or Jerry or Maggie or Jen or Susan or Dr Hicks or Patrick or...

It really is frustrating when NBC does do their previews for the show. They seem to make it almost 100 times more exciting, than it actually is. I know they almost need to, but after the last epi., I told myself that I wasn't going to get to excited about what they tell us.
