In the year l905 in Innisfail, Alberta, Canada, whilst building a small missiorary church under the supervision of Father Voisan a man was badly injured. According to old papers this man was miraculously cured through the intervention of Blessed Marie Postel. This event was used in the cause of her beatification. As I am writing a short history of our church it would be helpful if further details of this was inclused. Also Blessed Marie should receive gratitude from our present congegation!r !

The saint was beatified in 1908 and canonized in 1925. I could find no information about the four certified miracles worked through her intercession. If you seek more about the miracles, please write to the Vatican or to the religious congregation founded by the saint -- the Poor Daughters of Mercy (les Pauvres Filles de la Miséricorde) at Cherbourg, France, if a convent is still there and you can find an address.
