Other than the general condition we seem to be getting ourselves into:

I am retired, my wife and I are happy, no recent sadness keeping us under stress.

The rush to merge by the large companies and corporations indicates to me that when those things are finalized prices are going to rise so drastically that we retires will be back on dog food as a lot of retirees were in the 1950's. The longer you are retired the less your money will buy for you. Stressed ? Yeah. Frantic ? Naaah. Why worry before it happens. Prepare like a Boy Scout !

Work. Clients. Everything... basically, if it exists, I'm stressed out about it. Sad, but true.

The two dogs who showed up unexpectedly last night, who take up the entire house, especially when added to my own two dogs. The pile of work I didn't get to yesterday which is bigger today. And wondering if I'm going to get through the dedication of a plaza the city is dedicating to our son in two weeks.

The melanoma diagnosed yesterday on my husband's lower back, over his spine. That's enough stress to go on with. When it's all fine again (it's to be removed next week in the doctor's office) and I'm back to earth, I hope I remember to be grateful for prayer.
