NBC Spoiler?

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

Anyone hear the spoiler about ER on NBC last night? The announcer said, "...and a final goodbye to an old friend of the ER." He was talkng about this Thursday's episode, as well as the other shows on that night.

Oh, my mind is spinning at what that could mean...do we finally get the breakdown over Lucy? (Please, Please Please) Or do you think it is something about Doug Ross? Dr Greene's Dad? Carol? Someone else?

If you're talking about the same thing I saw, that ad was for "ER in May" not just for next week's episode. Sometime around May sweeps will be when Carol leaves the show.

Hmm, that makes sense actually. I swear they said this Thursday though.

The whole goodbye thing is for May, but something is going to happen this Thursday. "He wants me to go to Seattle with him." Hmm. Wonder what that could mean?

Joanne's right...it was a promo for all of NBC's shows and movies for May sweeps, including ER. Actually I thought it showcased ER nicely, considering how many other shows NBC has.

Carol will leave. JM turned down a 27 million dollar contract for ER.

Please, I KNOW she's leaving...I've received about 25 emails this afternoon telling me that she's leaving and how she turned down the contract and all that. I'm well aware of it, and have been for quite awhile. What I said was that I heard this last night, I thought it meant it was talking about this week's episode, because it was talking about the others in the "This Week" voice.

I meant that I surprised to hear that someone would have been leaving this week, rather than in the coming weeks (which we all know is happening, DUH!).
