If you write, a journal or otherwise, do you find it difficult lately?

Is it the weather, the season or just something personal that is keeping you from writing?

Or are you doing just fine and think I'm taking a coincidental lack of updated entries a bit too far? :)

For me it's a personal sort of thing. There are few things going on that I'm not comfortable with talking about just yet since they are not my "things". People I know are going through all sorts of events and its just not the time for me to blab about them.

BTW, congrats to both Cousin E and Cousin K on their various "Events" which may be mentioned in upcoming entries. :)

I have my mind on these things and it makes it hard to write about other things. Hell, to even *think* about other things...

Oh well, sooner or later we all have to get back into the groove of things.

I will have to agree with you.... this is roundabout the time I hit one of my writing "doldrums". When I started actively keeping up my journal in 1999 I wrote a lot, mainly because I had the time after work to rant and rave. This year I decided to finally get my masters degree...and I don't mind telling you, Grad-work + work + April (finals month)= 0% copious free-time. *wink* In lieu of writing nice, long entries on a frequent basis I have enlisted the help of friends and other journal writers to contribute "guest entries" on any topic they wish to write about.... that seems to fill in some gaps and helps put the wind back in my sails when I am swamped by that dreaded thing called "the real world" :^)

I don't find it any harder than usual to write at the moment, but then I never write much more than email and the occasional tersely worded message board post :) I *do* however, find it really hard to work. Heaven forbid I go outside and the weather is hovering at that perfect chilly temperature when you can wear nice clothes but don't shiver. Going back to work looks pretty shabby...

I can't write cool things like my cousin. I'm trapped writing Standard Operating Procedures and Manuals. Eck! No creative juices flowing with those types of things. Makes me want to go back to my no nonsense life when I was 18. But still getting paid what I make now!
