Hathaway on Entertainment Tonight--possible spoiler??

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I just saw on ET where Julianna says "tommorrow"is her last taping day on ER. I hope someone else saw this and give exact dates. She was at a thing for ALS. George was there too, but no mention of if he was going to be on her last show. (BTW, i said possible spoiler in case someone who reads this lives under a rock and doesn't know Carol is leaving.)

Apparentely, on "E! News Daily," they interviewed JM and asked her about a possible "ER" wedding to Clooney. Her response was, "Who am I marrying?" The person I received this information was distracted and didn't hear the follow-up question...anyhow, I thought I'd share that with all who are interested. ;-)

First, what does ALS stand for? Both JM and GC were there?

Also, I was maybe thinking that Clooney and Wyle would have a post- Fail Safe party with ER cast members there celebrating with them, and maybe they will negotiate to have GC back for the Carol's last taping. Though, with this new information (that tomorrow is her last day) this would be pretty unlikely. Besides, I guess things don't work like that, but it would be nice.

ALS is amyotrophic lateral sclerosis...or "Lou Gerhigs Disease"...look it up on the internet if you need more info.

Julianna's last show will be the SECOND to last episode of the season. The cast still needs to tape the season finale, but Julianna's done.

According to certain spoilers, isn't she leaving twice? I'm wondering when her first "last" episode will be?

I had mentioned this before, but here it goes again...With Clooney being so involved in Fail Safe I am sure there were no negotiations going on before. But how much time does he need to do an epi? I mean, he's right there in CA right? and I am sure his appearance will amount to nothing more than a cameo, so its not like he would have alot of lines to learn. I figure he could drop in on the set for a couple of hours and be done with it. What do you think?

She's leaving the episode before the season finale? Really?! I was hoping she would leave on the finale. Oh well, that leaves more room open for Carter's story, but still, I wanted to see her leave on the last show.

And Amanda...that's what I'm saying! THey keep talking about ER moving on and not looking back (like not having Doug back), but so what, it would just be happily ever after appearance and that's it! I's that so difficult?

My theory is that the only true way to "move on" is to bring GC back, so that the fans will get the closure they DESERVE and will not be longing for what we never got...I'm just hoping he comes back, no matter how small the role, how short the scene. *sigh*

Elaine, until I read this, I didn't know JM's last epi would be the one before the season finale, but I'm not surprised. One of the reasons they wrote GC out in February was to develop more story lines throughout the season, and thus not have a summer where people stewed over his being gone and maybe not come back. Of course, Feb is sweeps month as is May.
