think about your subject line before you post! (possible spoilers)

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I think it's quite clear....many people would rather not know about future episodes of ER...which is why we say "spoiler" in the subject line of our post...yet two previous posts referred directly to the rumour that Carter may be bi-polar....this does constitute a spoiler, and while I don't worry much about spoilers, some people prefer to come here only to discuss past shows, not speculate about future episodes...I think we should respect that...

I don't.

Anyone who has looked at this site more than twice will know that it is filled with speculation - some accurate info and some fantasy. If you don't want to know - stop coming to this site. I am not going to tiptoe around and be a policewoman about what I am saying just because a few folks in the audience don't want to hear it.

Can I get an AMEN here?

I agree with Ivy Rose that we should respect people not wanting to see spoilers, and thus mark subject lines accordingly. I, on the other hand, am not one of those people and go to the threads marked "spoiler" before any others! So, keep them coming, whatever you hear, whatever the source. But, yes, it's only fair to let people know so they can choose. I understand there are people like me who don't want to know how a movie or book ends before seeing/reading it. Actually I don't understand...but I do RESPECT it.

I posted one of those "Bi-polar" carter things and I am sorry if it bothered somebody. I guess I just thought most people had heard the rumors by now, even if you don't read spoilers...Sorry.

Hey Ivy Rose - it that your real name or did you choose it as a "pen name" because of the movie? Do you even know what movie I'm talking about? If so, was that a cool movie or what?!?
