there is supposed to be a program on HGTV about cordwood construction on ( I THINK) april 17 if someone here gets hgtv could you please let me know if this is the correct date and maybe what time it will be shown ? i have a friend who is going to tape it for me...please feel free to email me at thisisdoc@aol.com

I checked our local listings and the www.hgtv.com web site for you. The show you are looking for is called Dream Builders. There are two episodes on tomorrow. The cordwood construction episode is number 510 and airs here (Eastern Kentucky ET) at 6:30 PM. You may want to check your local listings. On the HGTV site there was also a reference to www.interlog.com/~ewood for more information on cordwood construction. Hope this helps.
