CALM Extra Credit

greenspun.com : LUSENET : UR General Chemistry : One Thread

I have a question about CALM credit. Is completing every CALM problem the only way we can get any extra credit? I know that I could not answer maybe one or two problems. Does this mean I can't get any credit or will I still get credit for the problems I solved correctly? Also, does any know exactly how many convertible points the CALM is worth? I would appreciate it if also maybe Prof. Schroder could maybe address this on the bulletin board or in lecture. Thanks.

I believe that you must do ALL the CALM problems to get any credit. Dr. Schroeder said it is too much work to give partial credit since there are so many people in the class.

I think the CALM is going to be averaged with one of your mid-terms, so depending on what you got on your midterm, different amounts of points given. For example, if you have a 0 on your midterm, you'll get 50 points, but if you have a 80, you will get 10 points.
