What does "TPTB" stand for? I am assuming it is people, but I'm not sure who. Thanks!

Kristal TPTB means The Powers That Be. And it usually refers to the producers and writers of the show. I frequent a website dedicated to a soap opera and they use the term TPTB there a lot also.
