Looking for information on the Liberty Ship SS Sun Yat-sen, built by Marinship Corp., Sausalito; 13th ship launched on March 26, 1943.What is her story?

I came across a US Navy website that listed the Liberty ships and their fates. Just go to your search engine and put in "Liberty Ship" and you'll be sure to find it. I was actually looking for another ship at the time I found the Liberty ship site.
