SPOILER - season finale May 18th

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

From UltimateTV.com:

Dr Kovac (Goran Visnjic) who has been so mild-tempered all season, finally gets ticked off when Benton disagrees about who should be given priority: a young victim (guest star Kyle Sullivan) of a deadly school shooting versus a more seriously wounded gunman (guest star Michael Johnson). Later, Kovac tries to browbeat a teenaged stabbing victim (guest star Emily Bergl) into allowing him to birth her unwanted baby despite her adamant wishes to let the child die. A combative Dr Carter is confronted by Dr Greene and the other ER doctors over his weird behaviour since being attacked. (Eventually, every doctor here has to be assaulted with a deadly weapon). Greene tries to convince a hardy rugby player (guest star Stewart Finley-McLennan) that his injuries are more serious than he thinks. (Airs May 18)

Isn't there an episode May 11th too. If so does anyone have any information on that. The season finale looks interesting, and I hope other people have story lines that continue into season 7.

All I know about the May 11 ep is that it's JM's LAST. She's not in the finale.

Keep any and all spoilers coming!

I hate that Julianna Margulies isn't in the season finale, though I guess it DOES make sense. Her exit would be overshadowed by the storylines needed to bring us into Season 7 or we wouldn't be given enough on the continuing storylines, while if it's the episode before the finale they can truly concentrate on her departure -- so I suppose this is why we haven't heard a word about the May 11th episode?

If this is the spoiler for the season finale that would be interesting. Yes, the plot sounds interesting, but what intrigues me more is that websites have THIS plot and not the 2nd to last one, JM's last show. They sure are keeping that one under wraps!

You're right Rachel...do you think this is becasue of a very covered up storyline involving GC? I don't know, it *is* odd the season finale information is up and not that one. I am still VERY doubtful, but you never know what could happen.

I cannot WAIT for this confrontation, ALL of the doctors will confront him, led by Mark, FINALLY. There seem to be only like 3 main plots so I hope they focus on Carter a lot. I am so excited, I hope it brings everyone together to help him. There was no mention of Mark's father...maybe he won't die (I hope), or maybe he dies the week before (that would be a way too emotional show though...Carol's leaving and Mark's dad...I hope that doesn't happen)

Re the May 11 episode. I don't believe anyone is keeping it under wraps. Typically, spoiler info for episodes is not released to TV schedules or entertainment websites until 2 weeks ahead of time. That is why we're only up to the May 4 episode. Because it's 2 weeks away. And the reason we have heard about the season finale is because that spoiler info was part of a season-finale roundup for all different shows. It just so happens that it only APPEARS that the May 11 episode has been ignored. Really, it hasn't. You will undoubtedly read more about it by next Thursday, when it is 2 weeks away and the usual spoiler sites cover it like they normally would.

It sure sounds from the spoiler like they are going to leave Dr. Carters storyline hanging over the summer especially since he's "combative." It looks like that Star article had a lot of the plots right on. TPTB had better not leave Carters storyline to be resolved next season. I wouldn't be able to wait that long, that's just to far away.

I hope everyone sorts Carter out. He needs his friends to support him - where've they all been?? Poor Carter.

I'm glad Luka finally loses it. He's been too 'good' all season - only losing his temper for 'good' things. Probably he's frustrated cos Carol left the week before. Good! Maybe he can get over her babies now!

Luka is so sweet. I really like his character. I mean, in "A Match Made in Heaven" even after working four shifts in three days, he is still sweet and patient. I loved how he was showing his pictures to Carol. I don't forsee something huge between them (obviously!) but I do like the friendship they have. At least thus far.

As for Carter, WHOA. I am really anticipating what is going to come. I actually want this month to pass by quickly so I can see what the hell is going to happen. I'm not sure I want Carter to go completely postal or have to wait ALL SUMMER to find out what's going on, but those Star spoilers seem to have some truth. I hope his confrontations aren't to the extent Star said! But I definetly want some emotion, confrontation and his friends noticing something is not right!
