greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

I know this question is asked every week by a canadian viewer, but what happened in the previews for next week? We get totally short changed in the preview dept. up here. Any info is appreciated.

Thanks, ivy rose (i'm not going to get deleted for putting a pseudonym here, am I Mike?)

Here's what I remember: Dr. Dave lunging (apparently) toward the off-camera father of the young car accident/abuse victim, and then Dave reading to the little girl and she says "Will you keep reading?" or something like that. Then it showed Carol opening a big gift-wrapped box with a surprised look onH her face. I think it also had a clip of Mark & David in their apt.

When Carol was opening the huge box, the voice over said something about hearing from an old friend! Wonder who!?! I don't have the exact words right now but it was something like that.

This is what I remember...Mark is taking care of his father in a hospital type bed, but at home, and the voiceover says something about them making peace; the Malluchi storyline, as above, but also I think it is Malik who is holding him back from lunging at the guy, and the voiceover also says 'an unlikely hero emerges' (go Dr. Dave!); then the voiceover says 'and as we near a farewell--(show Chuney and someone else watching Carol take and open a huge black box with a red bow)--a message from an old friend'...Carol's face full of shock, surprise. Sound good? I think so.

They also mentioned something like "A doctor's ordeal with his most cherished patient" as it shows Mark and his father...very sad. and don't get too excited about the gift Carol's opening. you know how they fooled us with the letter that we all thought was from Doug!

Yeah, but I liked what the letter ended up being. I think I have faith this time that it will be something big. I watched very carefully to make sure that Carol's astonished face followed directly with her opening the present, and it did. They seem to be the same scene, so the present will be a big surprise.
