Just a small observance: Luka and Carol had on coats...Mark had on short sleeves...Carter and Mrs. Soebriki (sp) had coats...just what was the weather there that day?

Larry, what a great observation. I didn't even think about that myself until I read your Question. Too me now when I think about it, I think they had a little blooper there. Or does the weather change that much from area to area in Chicago?

I noticed that too. And with Mark being on the water, wouldn't it be cooler? Peter and his family seemed to be dressed for warmer weather too.

I can answer this one! When ER was here that week, the weather was typical Chicago weather. I mean it was the *real* weather, folks. IIRC, that Thursday was just okay. Friday was nice, Saturday (look back to the review I wrote for that date) was GORGEOUS, very sunny and warm. That was the Wrigley field day. Saturday night, a cold front came in and there was fog at the lake...just like fog on ER, and it was chilly. Sunday was chilly as well. So, the weather was what the weather was. Chicago in the spring. Beautiful one day, cloudy and chilly the next.

Any questions now? ;^D

Yeah, I get that they filmed over several days, but unfortunately the epi was supposed to be in one day. A little unsettling but such a great epi it didn't really matter. I understand the weather changing like that. A couple of weeks ago it was 80 degrees and then we had snow flurries a couple of days later. BTW, did you see anyone from the show? And yes, I know Chicago is a big city! :)

And did you see Kerry's sleeveless shirt? It made me cold just to look at her and I couldn't wait for her to put her lab coat on! :)

I noticed the same thing in an old episode on TNT - where Chloe abandoned Baby Suzie by leaving her with Susan. In the scene where they're talking through the fence, Susan and Chloe are all bundeled up, but Little Suzie was in a sleeveless outfit.

They must have filmed the car scenes EARLY in the morning or something...where was all the traffic???

diana, about peter and his family, i think they were supposed to be in la, not chicago, so that's why it was nicer weather there.

I'm still not sure where this LA thing comes from. I mean it came from my post which came straight off About.com, but I said it when I posted it: LA? I don't think they're in LA and so far no one else has been able to explain that either. I think they were in Chicago (in "The Fastest Year") at Jackie's house, that Peter had a visitation with Reece, and he took Cleo and his son to his sister's for breakfast and to hang out for the day. I don't guess it's all that important where they were, except the LA thing is a bit distracting and probably an error. I just typed it like I read it on the previous thread.

good call diana, i guess if i had never read the summary on about.com, it never would have entered my mind that they were anywhere BUT chicago. but that's really weird, that it would come up on about.com, i wonder if there might be an explanation SOMEWHERE.

Aside from the psycho weather in Chicago (one day we had 70 degrees, a tornado the next day, and a blizzard the next, I kid you not) I was also wondering about something that seemed really odd... Do they really let you just go into Wrigley Field like that and hang out?

LMAO, Cathy!! i was wondering that myself!!
