NEWCASTLE boss Bobby Robson has offered to bring his side's final game of the season forward 24 hours to help Arsenal's bid for European glory.

Arsene Wenger's Gunners are due at St James' Park on Sunday, May 14, just three days before they meet Turkish opponents Galatasaray in the UEFA Cup final. But speaking after seeing his side beat Coventry 2-0, Robson said he had no problem with the game being brought forward to the Saturday.

"I would be happy to help Arsenal any time," he said. "I'd be happy to be seen to be helping an English club to do well in Europe and if that would be a help to Arsene I would agree to that. It would give them that extra day - I'd like it if I was Arsene. It's in the hands of the administrators."

The Gunners have had their request to move out game to the 13th turned down.

And Wenger is not a happy bunny about it.

Didn't think he could pull it off
