After shopping we found a park and I did some actual skating for the first time in years.

In-line skating feels a lot different than the old-fashioned way that I remember. I've hardly ever been ice skating but that's what this reminded me of.

It didn't take long before I got the hang of getting myself going. I was a bit shakey on the coasting part and stopping was just way beyond my abilities. :)

But hey! I didn't fall once!!

We're going skating again tonight just before we head over to the Restaurant's 4 year anniversary celebration where I feel obligated to put in at least a token appearance.

Alix, Brad and I went last year to Skate Depot in Cerritos. The kids were just whipping around in their in line skates. I had a little hard time and my legs were quite sore after that experience. But we'll go again... sometime during the summer again.
