A logistical question: What dates are the remaining episodes this season, are any of them longer than usual, and when does the fall season usually start?

I am asking because we're about to move; our stuff (including TV) will be shipped out 5/22, we're shipping out 5/26. We'll be traveling all summer and won't be back in TV-land til late August. If there's going to be a cliffhanger -- or resolution thereto-- while I'm incommunicado, I want to make sure some family member's VCR does me a favor.

Don't worry, you won't miss anything (except reruns). :-) Julianna Margulies' last episode, "Such Sweet Sorrow," airs on May 11th. The season finale, "May Day," airs the following week on May 18th. Both are one hour long. The new season of "ER" doesn't start until October, thanks to the Summer Olympics.

WHAT??? The new ER season doesn't start until Oct.? That sorta sucks. Oh well I guess that means that ER will continue into June next year. But 4 months of reruns, and probably a cliffhanger episode? I don't tjink that I will be able to wait.

Chances are, it won't continue into June. They may have less episodes (a la "The X-Files"), or there will be fewer reruns throughout the year.

I hope that they don't make fewer episodes, we only get 22 as it is. Although I wouldn't totally oject to fewer episodes if they were really good (Be still My Heart, Love's Labor Lost good), unlike the some the drival that has been producted over the last few seasons.
