I noticed a lot of people do not understand Ch. 14, I am happy help anyone who has a specific question. Mainly, if you look on page 651, Figure 14.41 clarifies a lot of points, Only O2 and F2 have the different bonding structure (going sigma, sigma, sigma, pie, pie, sigma) These are the only molecules with this different bond order!! All other molecules in the second period have the order (sigma, sigma, pie, sigma, pie, sigma). Simply fill the levels accordingly and many things become simple. I hope this helps everyone :<)
