Exercise sucks.

So what's your workout routine? Do you go to the gym or are you a conqueror at home?

I like to warm up on the recumbent bikes for 15+ minutes, then if the elliptical trainers are free I work on those for a half hour. If they're all full I weight train for a while until I can get a machine. Then I do about 100 situps on the ab crunchy machine thingy.

And if you don't exercise, tell me about your anti-workout.

My anti-workout is the evil vending machine at work. Bleh

Closest thing I have to a workout: If I feel shapeless and yet have energy, I will do an unnamed number of stomach crunches and pushups, and maybe run in place in front of the tv for a while. I keep getting involved in physically demanding school projects, though. That's something.

Well, I can now walk all the way around Target (GREATLAND) without breaking into a sweat. Ditto with walking to and from the car and/or mail in the apartment complex. This *is* an accomplishment, for those that don't know, as I've just come to the six-week point in recovering from major abdominal surgery.

I hope to be able to start working out lightly within the next two weeks. Of course, the trick will be to find the time.

Richards Simmons Sweatin' to the Oldies is So Damn Cheesy but it's damn easy as well, so that will be my starting point. After I've gotten to a point where I can do something a bit more difficult, I'll go back to the step aerobics that I adore. Then, after being at a point where this all isn't killing me I just may jump on the Taebo bandwagon... Yeah, I know a few years late... I've been PREGNANT, sue me. (=

Well, I tend to start doing some kind of exercise, be it the kickboxing video or something else, then I get sore for a few days and stop. Or, more often, I get sore and I injure myself (either in the exercise or elsewhere), and have to stop for a week or so until it stops hurting. Then, of course, I don't start up again. My anti-workout would be the computer.

I do want to start doing hikes in Pt. Reyes again, though.

This is just my thrice-yearly message to tell you how terrific you are. Plus, one of those Daw.Cree girls lives two doors down from me. Would you like me to spy on her? I can take a picture, we workout at the same place. (The woods) ha ha! I'd feel like a stalker but for you, Mar, I'd do it. I hope you can tell by my ISP who I am, otherwise I'll shoot you an email.

Well, before I started growing an eight pound tumor in my belly, I really enjoyed a combination of Tae-Bo three times a week, and taking the dog out on walks three times a week. I plan to go back to this as soon as possible because I can't believe this, but I actually miss exercise. When we went swimming last weekend, it felt so good to move my muscles and work out and stuff. I mean, lately, I'm not even getting any good muscle tone from sex. (No jokes about the muscle tone of Dan's right arm, please. DHOAE!) It's bad.

We walked around the block this morning and I started having contractions. Hmph. Oh well. I'll be back, Billy Blanks... just let me get this 8 pound baby outta me first. ;)

Hmmm ... currently my own workout routine consists of some ab crunches and some pushups before I go to bed and when I get up.

Seeing as I am paying #42 a month (approx $70) for a gym membership that I am stuck with for at least another 10 months I would really like to use it. Finding the time is the problem ......

Sigh ... next week ... honest ....

Walking from my car and into work is the extent of my daily workout.

Except for playing ultimate frisbee with all my guy friends, only I usually wuss out about 15 minutes into it and whimper, "I'm not big on physical activity."

It doesn't help being a chain-smoking asthmatic.

I do ab crunches in spurts. I think I look alright without a workout. I'm blessed with height (5'9'') and curves (140 lbs.)

Hey, I can wear a bikini. That is all that matters when June rolls around.

Cookie, I've no idea who you are.

OK, I have ideas, but none of them certain.

Post script:

My last post was in June and I stated that I weigh 140 lbs. Now in the last week of September I weigh a lovely 125 lbs. Still no exercise, but Stacker 2 RULES. :)
