I think we are going to have a Vet on the board soon!

DR. Daryl Salsbury, who has written many articles for CS. and an old friend of my wife, may be coming on board. In a bit of panic about one of my feeder steers we called him this afternoon and he gave me sound advise, now I have sent him over the link for our forum and hopefully he will be here, for many of the animal questions we all have, with professinal advice and whatever.

Wonderful! Great of you to think of it, and I'm sure a lot of us will welcome some professional advice, even though experience helps, sometimes we need to know something that no one on the site has done/seen. Good Work! Jan

Thank you Hendo! I think it is wonderful people are willing to share their knowledge, just out of kindness. Everything we do in life is not always about monetary gain. Doc Salsbury, if you do come on-board, you do a kind thing to offer help to some with slim pockets. There are other professions on the net, willing to do the same. May Heaven Bless, all of them.(no, I don't have herds of anything".

This is great. Thanks Hendo. I would hope that we respect this kind person's time and request our information with respect to that. It would be good to consider setting up a separate category perhaps, or some way that responses could be easily found in the archives so we don't ask the same questions over and over.

I live next door to a veterinarian and wouldn't think of asking him to give me advice all the time(good fences make good neighbors). Of course in an emergency, he'd be all over it for me, but the guy needs to have a life just like the rest of us...just a thought..Also he's an equine specialist, and I have don't have horses!

Great going, Hendo! I'm shure he will feel welcome here.
