Title: Rockland residents lose power after pole glitch

ROCKLAND -- A Central Maine Power Co. utility pole on Old County Road malfunctioned Friday, cutting electrical service to 1,250 customers. The outage occurred at 10:50 a.m., according to CMP spokeswoman Meredith Finn, and power was restored at 11:53 a.m.

Customers in Rockland, Rockport and Thomaston were affected.
