Managing Electronic Records (Course CWRM 627) will be taught at George Washington University in Washington DC on June 8-9 from 8:30-4:00pm each day.

This course discusses the present and future roles of electronic records management. It surveys physical characteristics and applications of various types of computer storage media, including magnetic and optical disk records. The course describes how to develop and implement techniques in records retention, disposition, retrieval, and protection. The role of electronic recordkeeping software in managing electronic records is also presented.
