where can I find help?

Where can I find help? Last week my wife decided she did not like the answer that I gave her. Maybe I did not give her an answer and she just did not like my non-answer. Anyway, she beat on me for about 30 minutes. I have about 30 telephone numbers, but they do not have any help. Most say they are sympathetic but they only help the true victims, women. I am beginning to think that this is all a bunch of talk to hide the fact that men do not get help that women want to side track any help to men.

i have twice called poloice when i was being abused. the last time i went to the station. i had blood all over my face from her blows. i have never retaliated. arriving with the police they offered to take me to a shelter but w/o children. then they said we will arrest her. she told them it was mutual combat thoygh not a hair on her was out of place. the result she went to the shelter w/ the kids. i have been branded as the abuser i suppose. i am getting little in the way of co- operation from courts, police, counselers. i am hoping that the fotos the police took of my face and neck will help my fight but i doubt it. men cannot be victims it appears and are responsible for all discord in the home. i wish i could find someplace for legal advice. but men if you are abused. collect evidence, never call police, and file an order of protectin in secret

Besides this bulletin board, take a look at the safe-support mailing list: http:// www.safe4all.org/help.
