Don Henley's new song being promoted on ER's SSS

greenspun.com : LUSENET : ER Discussions : One Thread

Don Henley has a new song coming out May 23rd (I think) Anyway it was played throughout last night's episode, "Such Sweet Sorrow". I believe its called "Going Home" but don't quote me. I liked the song. It was perfect for Doug and Carol's reunion. Great publicity stunt too on part of the record label and Don Henley.

The publicity stunt definately worked, and I'm so glad that they chose such a GREAT song for Doug & Carol's reunion!! Like the rest of the episode, it was perfect. I'm buying the CD when it comes out. :-)

About what Kathy said about being a great publicity stunt on part of the record label, did you notice that Don Henley's record company is Warner Bros? What a coincidence!!

I always watch ER with the captions on so I don't miss anything. The captions actually said "Take Me Home by Don Henley playing" when the song started!

It's "Taking You Home" by Don Henley on his new CD coming out on May 23rd. He wrote it for his wife and newborn daughter when they came home from the hospital, which made it even more fitting for Doug, Carol, and their twins.
