Very inspiring, you are a talented man indeed.

Here is my poem.

The Rockets Red Glare - by Matt Wakely

Traveling, ever traveling, to the county of Porter. Destination, Shelton's. Searching, ever searching for the those aerial delights from the Orient. Shells, rockets, the smell of sulfur and powder alert my senses. Delighted at the discovery of cryptic packages and nonsensical slogans. What? No smoking in here? Confusion, mass explosion. Oh the agony, the fireball looms over the horizon. Hey, do you take coupons?

And you wondered why Pete didn't come with. Guess he's a lot smarter than we are.

Personally, I prefer the haiku (but this won't format well, so bear with me): Feebly into a pothole, my scribblings slip, on the PoetrySuperHighway.
